We can’t imagine what you are experiencing as you weigh all your options, but we are thankful you have found your way thus far and came across us! Our story begins at our church, where we first met. After Kris had been attending for a few months, we started collaborating on a mission trip to Panama. Kris then joined the worship team as a guitarist while Samantha was already a vocalist, causing us to spend more time together. In getting to know each other we quickly realized our interests and dreams were compatible. We dated for a year and were married in November 2016. We then joyfully welcomed our daughter, Sasha, in 2023 through open adoption. Neither Kris nor I remember our childhood without siblings, so it is our dream to let...

“What I love about Kris is his patience. No matter what is going on in our life, or how chaotic things are around us, he is our foundation. Kris is also an extreme goofball. There’s not a day that goes by where he doesn’t make me laugh! I have loved seeing Kris become the great Dad I knew he would be. Immediately after work, he is on the floor playing with Sasha, showering her with kisses and making her giggle. “What I love about Samantha is her lively spirit. She makes any and everything fun! Seriously, no matter how mundane the task or how ordinary the excursion may seem, Samantha is able to make it an adventure. She is also sincerely caring and loving towards every person she meets. She’s the go-to person for helping move a friend out of their house, and the best gift-giver I know. Watching Samantha love Sasha is my greatest joy. We purchased our home in December 2019 in a quiet, suburban neighborhood of Denver. It has a big yard and is one block from a park and community swimming pool.

The neighborhood is full of young, diverse families whom we’ve gotten to meet while enjoying summer nights outdoors. The neighborhood kids ride their bikes, play football, and listen to music while the adults visit in the front yards. We enjoy hosting BBQs and movie nights for family and friends.

Kris is a Denver native and all his family lives nearby. His parents and three brothers are married. There are now five cousins all close in age. We regularly see one another and love to watch them grow and learn together.

Samantha comes from a large and close-knit Midwest family. She has seven siblings and 25 (and counting) nieces and nephews. Her parents are the cornerstone of the family and all her siblings but one are married with children. We see each other as often as possible and enjoy the country life we call home away from home. Our interests include camping, exercising, cooking and music. We camp in the mountains at least once a summer. We either hike fourteeners or seek out alpine waterfalls to take a dip. We also exercise together in our home gym so that we can enjoy eating and cooking together. Day-to-day activities with Sasha include going for walks, pushing her in the swing, and visiting Babcia's (Grandma) house. We're so excited to double the fun when Sasha's sibling arrives!

Christmas is our favorite time of year. We decorate the house together and always take a drive to admire Christmas lights...

Sasha joined our family in October 2023. She has been a bundle of joy since the day she was born. We have extreme love and respect for her birth mom and are delighted to have an open relationship with her. We honor Sasha's heritage by celebrating new holidays and incorporating new foods as a family. Sasha is energetic, silly and adored by all! She gets a big smile when Mommy pretends her stuffed animals are babies, taking a bottle in her arms. We know she'll be a great big sister.
